The free online loan payment calculators and repayment tools in this section will help you to think for yourself ... rather than relying on others (self-serving lenders) to do your thinking for you.
I am building these free online interactive worksheets to help you to forecast the net-consequences of your borrowing decisions -- before you make them -- so you can act in your own best interest instead of in the lenders' best interests.
And what sets these calculators apart from the others you will find online, is that the ones I create actually include the trade-offs (opportunity costs) of borrowing money.
For example, several of the borrowing-related calculating tools include a field for entering your real hourly wage, which is used to calculate how much time you will need to spend at work in order to pay the interest cost of the loan. How's that for different? And that's just the tip of the opportunity cost iceberg.
Below is the current list of loan-related calculators you can use for becoming an informed decision-maker when it comes to borrowing money and paying back money owed:
Early Loan Payoff Calculator
See how adding just a few dollars a day to your payment can pay off big time -- in both time and money. Now includes the option of displaying a revised amortization schedule with the results, plus a button to open the schedule in a printer friendly window.

You also have the option to add extra principal payments on either on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. The results include a time and interest comparison chart, a bar graph, and a biweekly amortization schedule. The page also includes 2 mini conversion calculators (Bi-weekly to Monthly, and Monthly to Bi-weekly).
Lender Loan Balance Calculator for Sporadic and Uneven Repayments
This free online loan balance calculator will help you to find the balance for loan repayments that have not been made in accordance with the original terms. The calculator creates a monthly payment schedule based on the span of time you specify, wherein you change the contract payment amounts to match the actual payments made (the balance column updates as you make changes). Plus, you can even extend the payment schedule beyond the original number of payments for cases where skipped payments have extended the length of the loan. Also handles late fees, US Rule or Normal methods, and includes an optional printer friendly revised loan amortization schedule.
Loan Pay Off Calculator for Variable, Irregular, Extra, and Balloon Payments
This free online loan pay off calculator will help you to create a revised loan amortization schedule based on payments you have made (and/or will make) that were different from those specified in the original loan agreement -- but that will still result in paying off the loan within the length of time set forth in the original terms. Also includes an optional printer friendly revised loan pay off chart, complete with the principal-interest breakdown and outstanding balance for each payment period.
Remaining Balance Calculator to Calculate Loan Payoff Amount
This free online loan balance calculator will calculate the payoff amount and number of payments made for an existing loan based on the month and year of the first payment. Also includes an optional printer friendly schedule of payments made, complete with the principal and interest breakdown for each payment made.

This calculator will calculate the size of the loan you can take out based on the size of the periodic payment you can afford to make. Simply enter the rate, number of payments, and payment amount you can afford, and the calculator will tell you the size of the loan (principal). I'm basically adding loan amortization, payment, payoff and interest calculators to free-online-calculator-use.com in the order from highest demand to lowest demand, so if you see a calculator in the following list you want me to put on the high priority list, please let me know.
