Simply enter the date and time of a past event and the count up creator will generate a timer that will begin counting from the event's date and time.
And not only will the calculator count up the time in years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds, but it will also give the total time stated in each of the latter time units.
Plus, if the past event resulted in a periodic savings or earnings (like the savings from quitting smoking or the earnings from working on billable projects), the timer will even count the money you have saved or earned since the start date and time. Super cool!
Finally, you also have the option of having the calculator remember your event for future visits -- in which case the updated timer will magically appear at the top of this page without you having to enter anything or press any buttons (so long as you access the page from the same computer and web browser that you created the timer with).
Note that if you would like to count down to future date and time, please visit the Count Down Calculator.

To Help You calculate ...
Event title: Enter the event title you want to appear in the timer heading. This is especially useful if you want the calculator to remember your event on your next visit, as the title and the updated event timer will automatically appear at the top of the page.
Date to count up from: Select the month and day and enter the 4-digit year for the past date you wish to create an event timer for.
Time to count up from (hour:minute:second): If the event has a time associated with it, select the appropriate hour, minute, and second. If no particular time is associated with the event you can set the time to whatever time makes the most sense to you.
Money savings/earnings per time period: Optional: If applicable, enter an amount of money you are saving or earning as a result of the event. Then select the time period the amount is applicable to. For example, if quitting smoking is saving you $8.00 per day, enter 8 in the text field and select day from the drop-down menu. Or, if working on a billable project where you are charging $25 per hour, enter 25 and select hour.
Remember event for next visit? If you want the timer to remember your past event on your next visit, select Yes. Otherwise select No. If you select Yes you will see your count up timer at the top of this page on your next visit. Note that in order for this feature to work you must be using a newer web browser that supports Local Storage.
